Being connected with nature is one reason many people keep bees.
Beekeeping is a natural addition to those who enjoy gardening and the outdoors.
For farmers and orchardists, raising honeybees is vital for crop pollination, which increases crop yields.
The gifts from the hive are a favorite to beekeepers.
Bees visit flowers, trees, shrubs and weeds to collect pollen to store for food to feed the baby bees, (eggs/larvae) produce wax and honey, which are made into useful products, candles, hand creams and lip balms amongst other beneficial products.
And then there's APITHERAPY! ( join our club for more information)
